How often should I replace wiper blades in Arizona?

Inspect them regularly and replace them when the rubber deteriorates or wiping no longer clears the glass properly. Sun exposure, parking conditions, and blade material affect lifespan. Follow product guidance, but do not wait for a calendar date if visibility is already poor.

Are beam, hybrid, and conventional blades interchangeable?

Only if the replacement is designed to fit your vehicle’s arm, attachment, and required length. Blade styles differ in construction, but fit and even contact are essential. Front driver, passenger, and rear blades may all have different requirements.

Why do new wiper blades still leave streaks?

Contamination on the glass, an incorrect blade, poor attachment, or a bent or weak arm can affect wiping. Cleaning the windshield and checking installation may help. Persistent streaking needs inspection rather than repeatedly replacing otherwise suitable blades.

Will new blades fix wipers that do not move?

Usually not. Blades are the wiping edges; a lack of movement can involve the motor, linkage, fuse, switch, or wiring. Report whether you hear the motor or whether only one arm moves so the problem can be assessed separately.

What if the washers do not spray?

Low washer fluid, blocked nozzles, a disconnected hose, or a pump or electrical fault can prevent spray. Check the system rather than assuming the blades are responsible. Use washer fluid appropriate for your vehicle and expected temperatures.
