Transmission Flush

Transmission fluid service matched to your vehicle

Get Service

Choose the right transmission-fluid procedure.

Transmission fluid supports lubrication, cooling, and operation of the transmission. A flush is not the right service for every vehicle. OOROO reviews the transmission type, maintenance history, manufacturer guidance, and symptoms before recommending a fluid change, exchange, or diagnostic work.

Transmission fluid service

Service may include

Review transmission type and service history
Check fluid condition using the correct procedure
Inspect for leaks at accessible components
Select manufacturer-specified fluid
Use the appropriate fluid-service method
Service accessible filter or pan when required
Verify fluid level and operation after service

Maintenance or diagnosis: which comes first?

Shifting problems need assessment before a flush.

Slipping, delayed engagement, harsh shifts, or unusual noises may indicate a fault that fresh fluid will not repair. Report these symptoms before booking routine maintenance. The service method and interval should follow the requirements of your transmission, not a universal flush recommendation.

Transmission Fluid Service FAQs

Planning your service

Understand fluid changes, exchanges, and the limits of maintenance.

For general questions about OOROO, visit our customer FAQs.

What is the difference between a flush and a fluid change?
A drain-and-fill removes the fluid that drains from the unit; an exchange may replace a larger share using equipment. The amount varies by design and procedure. The appropriate method is the one supported by the manufacturer, not automatically the method replacing the most fluid.
Does every transmission need a flush?
No. Some vehicles specify drain-and-fill service or another particular procedure. Transmission type, condition, and manufacturer instructions determine the recommendation. A flush should not be presented as universally necessary or as a cure for internal wear.
When is transmission-fluid service due?
Check the schedule for the exact transmission and its operating conditions. Towing or other severe use may have separate requirements. If service history is unknown, review it with the shop before choosing a procedure; one interval does not apply to all transmissions.
Can fresh transmission fluid fix slipping?
Not reliably. Low or incorrect fluid can affect operation, but slipping can also come from internal wear or control faults. Diagnosis should establish the cause. Fluid service is maintenance and cannot be promised to reverse mechanical damage.
Do automatic, CVT, and dual-clutch transmissions use the same fluid?
Generally, they require different specifications, and even transmissions of the same broad type may differ. The exact approved fluid and level-setting procedure are essential. Do not choose a fluid based only on color or a general label such as automatic transmission fluid.
