OOROO Gives Back
2021 has brought exciting new partnerships and opportunities for us to support our community.
In Q4 of 2020, we launched “OOROO Gives Back.” This is just one of many of our programs that focus on caring for our community and embodying our mission of HEART. “OOROO Gives Back” is a cornerstone of how we want to continue partnering with organizations around Tucson, and HEART is why we do it.
We are elated to be working with two companies who share our values of caring for others. These partnerships exemplify the very goal of “OOROO Gives Back.” Simpleview has awarded a certificate of OOROO services to the non-profit Child & Family Resources here in town, while Pima Federal used their certificate for employee recognition awarded to Vanessa Estrada.
Congrats to the recipients!
We were #FreezinForAReason and had a blast coming together to fundraise for the great work of our partners at SOAZ. Take a look at our teams personally taking the #2021VirtualPolarPlungeAZ together here, as well as many more inspiring athletes and companies in town that took the plunge here.
Congratulations to Jeff Artzi, our Founder and CEO, who has been elected as one of the newest members of the board at United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
It was an honor to support United Way and Women’s United in their Annual Business Breakfast as they virtually presented this year’s Literacy Champion Award Winners. Congratulations to the winners, Kristen Kvaran and Haley Carolin, and all the incredible teachers out there working hard to support our youth with flexibility and HEART amidst changing environments this past year.
Best of Northwest
Not to toot our own horn, but we are proud to share that we have been awarded Best Auto Repair by the Best of the Northwest for the 6th year in a row. Thank you to everyone who voted and spread the word about the OOROO experience!
“OOROO again takes the top spot for local auto repair shops thanks to the three words they base their business on: convenient, transparent and guaranteed. We know it’s rarely a good day when you need your car worked on, so you might as well head over to a beloved local shop that will make the process as easy as possible. And even better, when your car doesn’t work, it’s always good to have the service come to you.”
For those that’ve been following along or personally participating in Spot Otto, our contest has been such a success that we decided to keep it going. Be on the lookout for Otto as we’ll do three more drawings in the next three months! We are thrilled to see so many cars around Tucson sporting our happy car OOROO magnets and even more exciting to see what fun everyone had in spotting them.
It’s our pleasure to have awarded gift cards to our winners, Joyce Deutsch and Robert Wells along with these lucky drivers: Susan Hernandez, Meredith Puls, and Rosemary Cruser!
We were honored to have the opportunity to help give back to the team at Tucson Medical Center to recognize the remarkable and dedicated staff taking care of others during the pandemic. This partnership with TMC, donated several thousand dollars worth of services that we performed on site with our mobile vans. Talk about starting the year off on a positive note!
Thank you to all of our Client Partners for your continued support and valued relationships that make this kind of work we do possible. Stay tuned with us to see more of what our community partnerships will look like throughout 2021!
