The Joy of Giving

This year’s Joyride program has come to a close and choosing our 4th annual recipient was no easy task. With all that’s happened in 2020, there are many people feeling the effects of COVID-19 that has impacted each and every person in their own way.

Our recipient was no exception to the hardships that have accompanied these uncertain times. She’s someone who is described by her loved ones as selfless, always putting the needs of her daughter before her own. When the pandemic hit, like many others, she lost her job all the while battling other personal hardships along the way. We’re honored that we could bring some Joy to a hard year for our recipient by giving the gift of a safe and happy car.

Thanks to all the nominations we received, our independent board of panelists chose this hardworking single mom to receive the Joy of providing her with a safe, reliable vehicle to support her family. In total we were able to: repair the tail light, resurface the brake rotors, replace spark plugs, radiator hoses, battery, shocks/struts, and differential and transfer case fluid.

“I’m overjoyed at the kindness of your shop and what you are doing. I cried after getting off the phone with you. This is perhaps the best Christmas season ever, despite my challenges because it has shown me what a wonderful community I live in!”

It warms our hearts to help out someone so beloved by her community. This is what the Joy of Giving truly feels like for all of us at OOROO Auto.

In addition to Joyride, here’s what 2020 looked like for OOROO:
