Flagstaff – 4.5 hours

Flagstaff is a prime location to enjoy all that snow has to offer in one go. Stay near to town and visit the Flagstaff Nordic Center. There you can explore 25 miles of groomed trails, which is great for those who love cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, or fat-tire cycling. For skiers and snowboarders, take some time and head northeast to AZ Snowbowl. With a mix of ski run options, there’s something for every level. If you’re traveling with kids, or want to indulge your inner child, visit Oak Hill Snow Play Area thirty minutes west of Flagstaff. There you can go tubing, build snowmen, make snow angels, have snowball fights, and more.
