Meet Savannah
Our New Community
It’s official: Savannah Ellwood is a part of the OOROO Auto team! Savannah began her OOROO career at the beginning of 2020 in a part-time role supporting our business development efforts. In her new role, she connects community-minded, mission-driven companies across Tucson with OOROO’s latest, year-round initiative: OOROO Gives Back. Developed as an extension of the annual holiday Joyride Program that awards pro-bono car repair to community members, our new program teams up with like-minded organizations to better serve our community. With Savannah driving these partnerships, this program allows our partners to give car repair certificates to those in need. Learn more about Savannah in the Q&A below:
Q: What do you love about working at OOROO?
A: I love the team that I work with. It’s a very collaborative work environment and I love how the company is run with a focus on caring for people.
Q: Favorite car? 
A: My dream car is a 1967 Mustang Fastback
Q: What’s something we’d never guess about you?
A: I was a pole vaulter on the track and field team at the University of Arizona.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I enjoy being artistic: drawing, painting and making handmade cards. I occasionally will do commissioned work, drawing people’s dogs or their homes.

Q: Last travel destination?
A: My last travel vacation destination was a camping trip to Yellowstone for me and my husband’s anniversary.
Q: What makes OOROO Auto special? Why should vehicle owners give it a try?
A: What stands out about OOROO is the focus on caring for people. It’s the core of our business and it certainly shows in the way our team is helpful and friendly to customers, in the way we work toward giving back to those in need in our community, and by providing transparency and joy to the auto industry.
Q: What else do you want to share?
A: My excitement for the new OOROO Gives Back program we have created to continue the way we care for people through car repair. I really love the work I do with OOROO and the opportunity to meet and create new connections with so many interesting people here in Tucson as the community ambassador.

Savannah’s Bio
Savannah graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Retailing and Consumer Sciences. While still in college, she began her career in retail with an internship doing market research and data analysis. After college, she became an assistant manager with Target before later taking on a leadership role at Lululemon. She brings new insights to our business development team by utilizing her combined experience in customer service and market research.
Raised in Tempe, AZ, Savannah is an Arizona native. She moved to Tucson for college where she then settled and met her husband. In her free time, Savannah enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her and her husband’s dog, Roo. She loves to draw, hike, run, and enjoy the outdoors.
