May 2018 is a special month for OOROO Auto. It’s been four years since we opened our first shop in Oro Valley, Arizona!

Over the past few years, we’ve been the recipient of the Better Business Bureau Ethics Award, the Pima County Small Business of the Year Award, and the Arizona Daily Star Readers’ Choice, just to name a few.

As we get ready to enter our fifth year in business, let’s take a look back at how OOROO came to be what it is today and where we’re headed!

Something was broken
The OOROO team has deep roots in the auto care industry—in fact, our founder and CEO was once the chief executive of a 90-store chain. But none of us were satisfied with the business practices we were seeing in the industry. We saw businesses that didn’t prioritize their customers’ best interests, and we saw customers who felt like they were being taken advantage of. In short, we saw a business model that wasn’t working. So, we asked ourselves: “How can we fix this?”

How we’re fixing it
With OOROO, we decided to give customers what they were really looking for: great customer service, fair and honest pricing, ethical practices, and state-of-the-art care for all vehicles. Our customers aren’t just people we do business with; they’re part of the community that we all belong to. That’s why we treat them with respect, and it’s why we believe in being open and transparent. We’ve worked to build a team that is committed to our company’s values, and we’re working to expand our presence across Tucson.

Where We’re Going
OOROO hasn’t slowed down. Six months ago, we launched our mobile auto care services, as part of our ongoing effort to make our services better and more convenient for our customers. We know that auto care is notorious for being inconvenient and disruptive to customers’ schedules. That’s why our technicians are ready to come to you and service your vehicle at your home or office.
